Financial Communications Network (FiComm), provides a very inexpensive, unique solution for speaker based services in the trading room environment.

For too long, financial firms have overpaid for speaker based services such as Hoot-n-Holler, Squawk, and Shout Down connectivity over traditional connections. Not only are traditional telephone lines expensive they are cumbersome, with the coordination of installations, line cards, channel banks etc.

FiComm has developed a web based application (Patent Pending) which includes a high quality microphone and speaker that can be installed and operational in seconds. Our point and click application allows traders to manage multiple open line connections for both their domestic and international trading partners.

A trader can log into the custom tailored secure FiComm web application and instantly have access to the FiComm Network. Once connected, he/she can choose whether to connect with an individual, hoot-n-holler or optionally an outside party.If enabled, users can also receive incoming calls. It's even possible to integrate your corporate telephone system with FiComm using our custom gateway.

Security - FiComm secure applications use SSL encryption, a common security protocol used by banks and government agencies to secure and encrypt their sensitive information. We use an Organization Validated 2048 bit Certificate Key issued by a well know Certificate Authority to insure mission critical voice conversations remain confidential.

Disaster Recovery (DR) - Not only does this service set up quickly, the Disaster Recovery implications are invaluable. Instead of paying enormous Telco line charges for service waiting in hot standby at an off-site DR location, your FiComm connections are already waiting at any location at any computer by just logging in.

Portability - There are no duplicate service charges for a cut over regarding planned moves of a trading desk to a new location, i.e. another floor, building or city. Neither will there be any expensive Telco move order charges, or charges for planned use of the telecommunications personnel to coordinate these moves. Service will be re-established on demand from any location.
